Vintage 1980s 1990 Wool Kilt by Highland Home Industries

Lovely vintage tartan wool kilt skirt from the 1980s or 1990s in shades of red and green. Beautifully pleated with fringe along the side. Unlined. Hook and eye closures. Label reads: Highland Home Industries, Made in Scotland. There is another label that says: 100% pure wool. And a third that gives the size as Age 11/12, but do please read the measurements below as it seems a little big for that, more like an adult medium. There is a button hole on the waistband at the back where I assume one attaches a traditional sash to.

Near mint vintage condition.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 28" as is, could be made a little looser or tighter by moving ther hooks
Hips: loose
Waist to bottom hem: 23"
