Incredible man's pocket watch from the early 1900s, my best guess is about the 20s, but I've been unable to pin it down exactly, so it could be a decade or so either way. The company, New Haven, started in the mid 1800 and went out of business in the 1950s, so there we are. Watch is just about 1.75" in diameter. Appears to be some sort of silver metal, chrome perhaps? Steel? Has an ivory face with black numbers and hands and gold details. Works just fine as of this writing. The top pulls out to adjust the time and once pushed back in you simply wind it. I believe the face cover is celluloid or another early form of plastic. This is a very special watch, I almost kept it for myself --I've been hoarding it for a while now trying to decide--but I just don't tend to use watches or timepieces so it would be wasted on me.
Excellent vintage condition. Apart from some mild tarnish to the metal and some mild cloudiness to the face cover its in great shape and as I mentioned, appears to be working fine. Its ticking away next to me as I type this.
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my utmost best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected, and there are occasionally small things I won't deem worthy of note. Please feel free to send me a missive with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated.
