Vintage English Steel Scissors

Lovely old scissors. Stamped on the side with English the  something I cant make out, then Steel.  Probably circa 1940s or 50s give or take.
Measures 6" long. They cut paper just fine. I haven't tried them on anything else but they seem perfectly capable.

Excellent vintage condition. Some of the silver color has darkened in areas but this only adds to its timeless charm.
