This comes from an enormous collection of Old Hollywood Movie Costumes I was lucky enough to stumble across. More about those later after the measurements so please read on...
Long wool coat with a distinct Eastern or Asian feel. This is one of those pieces that I suspect may have been used in Lawrence of Arabia ( see below), though of course I dont know for sure.   Pale yellow with a hint of sage green, and green trim.  Pockets at both hips. Pulls over or you cab unbutton the gabillion button closures up the front. My best guess as to age of this is circa 50s or 60s.  Feels like wool. No labels but it does have a Warner Brothers ID sticker inside one sleeve.  This is a mans but a woman could wear it I would think, it'd be a large or extra large size for a woman. Measurements below.
Good to great vintage condition.  Totally still wearable and if you're wanting a costume that looks like an authentic piece, this is perfect. Has smudges and some moth holes and lots of signs of life. See photos . But structurally very sound. Quite heavy, shipping will reflect this.
Please note that all items in this Costume section may have minor other flaws ( or example; missing snaps, small areas of loose seams, pinholes, etc..)  that I have not listed as its just not possible to find and or list every minor thing as these have lived quite a life! Priced accordingly, As Is and Final Sale.
Measurements taken lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Shoulder to shoulder: 22"
Bust ( or chest): 48"
Waist: undefined but approx. 56"
Hip: free
Shoulder to bottom hem: 56"
PLEASE READ: I acquired an absolutely enormous collection of Hollywood movie costumes. Ranging across the board from Paramount, Universal, Unified Costumers and more. The last known film much of the items were used in was Lawrence of Arabia but we have no way of knowing which ones and there are others from other films. Most likely they were used on extras or smaller roles, I have not come across anything I can pinpoint to a major name from that film.  Many of these were made much earlier, and I have found dates written on tags within from as early as the 1940s, though I believe some are even earlier.  I have given as much information as I can about each item in the listing. Much has been lost to time however.  That said, these are an extraordinary piece of movie history and I'm honored to be a part of it all.
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected. Please feel free to convo me with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated.
