I love the shawl collar on this late 1940s dress and how it wraps round to one side. I'd stick a brooch right where it connects. I also adore the pockets but I'm a big fan of 1940s hip pockets so there you are. Watercolor-like floral print in dusty pinks and brown on a winter white background. Side metal zip, pleates in front. Cap dolman sleeves. Label reads: Styled by Princess. Medium to smaller large size, I'd say.
Excellent, near mint vintage condition. Perhaps some mild color fade on the bodice.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40" ( dolman sleeve so a bit of play here)
Waist: 31.5"
Hips: up to 48"
Shoulder to waist: approx 15"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 43"
