Vintage Mid Century Pocket Knife

Small pocket knife with a single blade. Seems like stainless steel. Stamped on the blade but its worn away too much to make out, perhaps Japan? My best guess of the age of this is 1940s or 1950s based on others from the same collection. When closed knife measures just shy of 2.5" long.

Excellent vintage condition. Blade show some signs of tarnish and age as does handle.
