Vintage Wooden Bookends With Pressed Tin Mexican Country Scenes

Charming wooden bookends with pressed tin fronts showing what appear to be Mexican country life scenes. I particularly love the gentleman tugging along a very reluctant donkey! They measure 5.25" wide x 4.75" tall and the wood is .75" deep. The metal plate that slides under the books adds another 3.5". The listing is for the pair. I believe these are circa the 1960s or so.

Excellent vintage condition. Typical signs of age and use.
