Vintage 1940s Blue Plaid Cotton Day Dress

Charming cotton day dress from the 1940s with big hip pockets. Shades of blue plaid. Short sleeves, buttons up the bodice. Side metal zipper. Medium sized, I'd say. No label. Has loops for a belt but no belt.

Excellent to great vintage condition. I would call it excellent except for the tear on the back of the bodice. A more clever seamstress than I could probably repair that with very little sign.
The only other real thing to note is that the buttons don't perfectly match, one is ever so slightly different. The button holes seem like they could do with a stitch to tighten them up as well. I've left them as is in case you want to switch out those buttons to make them match. Other than that there may be a seams that could do with a stitch or two. Priced accordingly as as is.

Armpit to armpit across bust: dolman sleeve but approx. 39"

Shoulder to waist: 16.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 47"
