Vintage 1950s Dress in Black Velvet with Pellon Lining

This is a stunning vintage dress from the later 1950s, possibly early 1960s, in black velvet. Fit and flare shape with a black pellon lining for fullness. Wrist length sleeves with slits at the end. Has metal zipper down the back. Labels reads: there is one but its unreadable and there is a second size tag of 11 but do see measurements below for most accurate sizing as I'd say this is in the small range.

Excellent vintage condition. Some mild wear to the armpits.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip
Armpit to armpit across bust: 37"
Waist: 26.5"
Hips: full
Shoulder to waist: 14.25"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 38"
