Striking vintage 1950s fit and flare dress in a abstract swirly pattern of warm reds and creams. Be sure to looks closely at the darling front details with the collar. bow and buttons. Has a dropped waist and a true full circle skirt. Miles of fabric there! Dolman sleeves. Metal zipper in back. Label reads: A Jerry Gilden Spectator. Probably a medium size, see measurements. The inner waistline is fortified with muslin for stability as well. Looks and feels and tests like a rayon or similar.

Excellent to good vintage condition. Other than some areas of general color fade most of it is in excellent condition. There are some very unfortunate large holes at the bottom of the back of the skirt. Please see photo. I counted 5. However, the skirt is quite long, so if you rehemmed it a couple inches higher it would get rid of the lower holes and then you could use some of the extra hem fabric to patch the 2 higher ones. Just a thought for a cleverer seamstress than I am. Priced accordingly and as is.

Measurements taken with dress laid flat. Doubled at bust, waist, and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: dolman but approx 40"
Natural Waist: 28"
Dropped Waist: 33"
Hips: full
Shoulder to Natural waist: approx 15.5"
