Vintage 1980s Does 1950s Shirtwaist Dress With Pockets

Charming vintage red, white blue shirtwaist dress from the 1980s with buttons all up the front of the skirt and multiple pockets. There is a hook and eye at the waist and elastic. Has definite 1950s influences and would probably work really well for a 1950s look. Short sleeves. Label Reads: Andrea Gayle and goves a size of 10, but do see the measurements as vintage sizing is different. Looks and feels like a cotton.

Excellent vintage condition. Near mint.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 45"
Waist: 30" at rest up to 42" stretched the hook and eye could be moved a bit tighter or looser a bit as well.
Hips: loose up to about 53"
Shoulder to Waist: 17"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 46"
