Vintage Antique 1920s Lavender Purple Silk Chiffon Dress

Fantastically stunning vintage silk chiffon dress from the 1920s. Has an attached capelet at the shoulder, smocking at the waist and ruffles in a diamond pattern on the skirt. No closures, just pulls over the head. No label. Probably about a small to extra small, too small for my dress form so it's pinned to show the shape. Please see condition below.

Excellent vintage condition. For its age and being silk its in remarkable shape. Very wearable though gently of course and I'd recommend stabilizing the armpits as one has some shattering already and the other seems like its about to. Also there is some mild discoloration, mostly on the capelet which also has a pea sized hole.

Measurements taken lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.

Shoulder to bottom hem: 40"
