Vintage Late 1960s Brown Tweed Dress

Utterly charming late 1960s or early 1970s dress in a tweed or homespun-like textured fabric. Color is a mix of browns and white. It has hip pockets and big loops for a belt. I have shown it with some lace in some photos to give you and idea, the lace is not included. Sleeveless, it zips up the front and also has snaps in front. The zipper ends about a foot above the hem and with that deep neckline I am certain this had an underlayer originally. It would look absolutely charming with a blouse with loose sleeves and a pair of tights or leggings. You could also easily stitch that bottom opening up as well. Label reads: no designer label but there is a contents tag that tells us this is a mix of cotton rayon and nylon with an acetate lining. Large size I'd say.

Armpit to armpit across bust: 38"
Waist: 31"
Hips: 42"
Shoulder to waist: approx. 16"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 43"
