$ 129.00Fantastic vintage 50s New Look party dress in red with black lace bodice and hem. Utterly gorgeous! Full skirt, mid length, spaghetti straps that tie together on the shoulder, metal zipper down the back. This is the PRETTIEST dress and perfect for just about any event. Small to extra small size range. This dress HAD a label, but someone at some point in time cut it out, so your guess is as good as mine as to who designed it. They had talent though!
$ 89.00Simply gorgeous Emma Domb silk cocktail dress in a lovely salmon color silk. Beautiful horizontal pleats around the torso. Fully lined. Zipper down the back, short cap sleeves.
$ 69.00Stunning cocktail party wiggle dress from the 1960s. Amazing color and so soft! Satin, with black plastic button front, two pockets and applique details. Side zipper ( not metal) as well as the buttons down the front makes it really easy to get into. This is a larger size ( I've pinned it to fit the dress form).
$ 69.00Beautiful lemon yellow 60s maxi dress. Would be darling shortened! Has a matching tie belt. Taffeta with a slight floral pattern to the fabric. The skirt is fully lined.
$ 24.00I love the lavender-ey pink color of this pretty party dress. Its circa 1950s or early 60s. Would have had a little bolero jacket or top over the bodice and the hooks for that are still there. Its too small for my dress form by a bit so it's pinned in back but the zipper works great. This is an opaque layer of acetate or rayon with a sheer chiffon that feels like a poly maybe over the top. Full skirt but not a full circle, would be great with a crinoline, which I have not shown it with here. Sleeveless, wide waistband with a pellon lining to help it hold its shape. Zipper in the back. No label. Please see condition below as it has some issues. Small size, I'd say. Or extra small.
$ 49.00Just stunning New Old Stock dress with originals labels and tags, circa late 50s or early 60s. Rayon velvet bodice with tank style straps. Skirt is silk organza. Medium size I'd say. Label says: Renoir Originals, For Talls. Please see condition below.
$ 20.00 - Sold OutFun nylon dress from the 60s in olive green with a vaguely horseshoe pattern of blue, dark green and white. Metal zipper down the back, no label. Big fun collar and bodice detail. 3/4 sleeves. Plus size ( its pinned to my dress form).
$ 20.00Cute sunny yellow mod dress from the 60s. 3/4 length chiffon sleeves, and starburst beads scattered across the front. Metal zipper up the back. Sheath shape. I think this is a heavier cotton or cotton blend.
$ 295.00Stunning 1930s wedding gown in a champagne / darker ivory satin. Absolutely beautiful! Long full sleeves with lace at the wrist and buttoned cuffs, matching lace trim across the collarbone. Dozens of buttons up the back and a long train. The satin on this is super soft. Label reads, Dancing Mode.
$ 72.00This is a darling floral print cotton dress from the 1930s. Short sleeves with just a bit of pouf at the shoulder. Pleating at the skirt at the waist. Side snap and one hook and eye. Fun watercolor floral print of blues and yellows and browns on a light background. Mediumish size. No label.
$ 219.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the later 1940s, or early 1950s. I wish wish, wish I had a dress form small enough for this so you could get the real feel for it, but it's too small so I've had to pin it. Hopefully that will be enough. Its utterly divine. The most amazing bullet shape bodice just full of gorgeous beading all round the bust front and back and then soft black tulle over the shoulders. Fantastic gather at the hip on one side and then this fall of liquid black silk satin skirt which has a small rounded cornered slit on one side. Has metal zipper on the side, but curiously on the right, not the left as usual, and yes, I've made sure which side is front and back. No label, probably homemade though very, very well by an excellent seamstress, but that may explain the zipper.
$ 219.00 - Sold OutOne of the most stunning dresses I've ever had in any of my various shops. Beautiful silvery grey lace over blush acetate lining. From the later 1940s, or early 1950s. Full circle skirt. There is a layer of grey tulle between the lace and the lining. Cross the heart bodice, short illusion sleeves, and illusion shoulders and upper back. Metal Zipper on the side. Thread loops for a belt, but no belt. No label. About a large medium, I'd say.
$ 149.00This is a stunning party dress from the 1940s in black velvet. Has metal zipper on the side. Absolutely darling neckline and sleeves with scalloped edges. label reads: Betty Brief. Slightly dolman sleeve, small shoulder pads. This is either a silk or a rayon velvet, so soft!!! Thread loops for a belt but alas no belt. My trick is too use grosgrain ( or velvet) ribbon in whatever color you like to create a tie on belt! Probably a small to medium
$ 159.00 - Sold OutThis is a stunning party dress. Late 1930s, early 1940s black taffeta, sort of a moire, but an intersting oval pattern. Beautifully detailed neckline adorned with a perfect bow, pleating through the bust, and a full circle skirt ( or very close to full). There is a side metal zipper and loops for belt, though the belt is no longer with us. Short cap sleeves, slightly dolman. No label. A wonderful, feminine dress!
$ 64.00Beautiful vintage black taffeta dress from the 1940s. Darling pearlized buttons down the front and cute pleating and matching buttons on the sleeves. But what makes this dress extra cool is that underneath the pearlized buttons, are four hidden buttons to help with getting in and out of the dress without sacrificing the charm of the many small buttons on the front. It also comes with a side metal zipper to make things even easier! Medium to large size.
$ 89.00Black Velvet is so hard to photograph, I never seem to be able to do it justice. This dress is so gorgeous. Silk velvet in night black. Slightly empire waist with cross your heart neckline and a bow detail. On said bow there resides one wonderful rhinestone broach. This broach is missing a few stones, but its barely noticeable and simply adds to the overall charm of this dress. Or replace the broach altogether if you wish! In addition there are two hip pockets, so popular in the 40s! Side metal zipper. This is the softest, most wonderful dress, its the kind of dress you want to cuddle, just as much as wear. Medium Sized.
$ 69.00Pretty Spring floral dress from the 40s. The print on this is so fresh and pretty with its blue and purple flowers! Scoop neck, short dolman sleeves. This is a sheer nylon or rayon and would need a slip under it. Zipper on the side. Medium sized, I'd say. No label.
$ 79.00 - Sold OutPerfectly perfect little summer sundress circa 1940s. Pretty pink and lavender checked print. Wonderful boxed pleats in the front of the skirt, and oh yes, it comes with a little short bolero jacket that buttons to the two buttons on the bodice of the dress. The dress has a side metal zipper, and wide spaghetti straps. Cotton, I believe, and medium-ish sized. No label. Such a cute dress.
$ 129.00Beautiful party dress from the 1940s, possibly 30s. Peach taffeta. Shawl collar and layered skirt. Size small.
$ 129.00Charming full length party dress from the 1940s. The under layer is a white cotton or cotton blend, and over that is a layer of a sheer nylon scattered with tiny reed dots. Shawl collar over the shoulders, v neck and extra wide ruffled hem. Metal zipper up the back. I love the perfect placement of the red rose applique at the décolletage. No label.
$ 52.00Lovely khaki silk dress from the later 40s, possibly early 50s. Shirtwaist style with matching fabric covered buttons up the front and one snap at the waist. Stylized pockets at both left breast and right hip. Sleeves are wonderful cuffed, though I've shown them uncuffed here. Label reads: An Original by Alexanders of California. Hand Detailed"

$ 65.00Gorgeous tailored jacket from the later 40s. Wonderful gathered pockets, and a matching belt. Has silver buttons up the front and at the pockets, padded shoulders, cuffed sleeves. Nipped in tailored waist. Smaller medium size, I'd say. Label reads: Styled by Mohilef bros, California. Really lovely lines. Looks and feels like raw silk, but its probably a rayon.
$ 66.00This is a darling novelty print nylon dress from the 1940s. Long cuffed sleeves, buttons up the front with matching fabric buttons. There is also a matching belt. Cute pleating on the skirt. This is a flannel-ish material, but not a cotton flannel. probably a rayon. Its super, super soft. There used to be a tag but it was cut out at some point. There is still a union made label in the skirt though. I'd say this is on the smaller large size.
$ 79.00Luscious red full skirted party dress from the late 1940's. Full circle skirt, elbow length sleeves. Cute rhinestone broach button at the neckline. Metal zipper on the side.
$ 75.00Super pretty 1950s dress with a black bodice and black and white print skirt. There is a Peter Pan collar and cuffs on the short sleeves made o the same fabric as the skirt. A short zipper up the skirt and then the bodice closes up the back with five buttons and one snap at the very top and a second snap at the waist. A great box pleat the very front of the skirt. The sleeves are kinda neat, you can fold up the top, black layer, as I've done in the photos, or leave it down so the black and white just peeks out. The skirt is lined, the top is not. I believe the top is a silk blend (maybe linen?), and the skirt a cotton blend. Its super cute either way. No label.
$ 129.00This is a stunning party dress from the 1950s in black cotton velvet. Has metal zipper down the back. Beautiful neckline with looped trim for a slight peekaboo effect, and a full circle skirt ( or very close to full). 3/4 sleeves, slightly dolman. $ 75.00Beautiful vintage black lace dress circa 1950s. Wiggle style with pretty opening at the neckline and a dramatic V back. Has a side metal zipper. Fully lined in what feels like a black rayon faille. Small size, I'd say. No label.
$ 52.00Perfect little black lace wiggle dress from the 1950s. Capp sleeves with the slightest touch of pouf at the shoulder. Fully lined in acetate. Metal zipper up the back. No label. About a small/medium.
$ 169.00Beyond beautiful black dress from the 1950s. The silkiest, liquid silk satin. Like a raven's wing. In the right light there's a hint of a blue sheen even, its that black. Fitted bodice with a slightly dropped waist. Princess seams, full skirt though not quite a full circle and you can see my very full crinoline is a bit too much for it, sleeveless and the shoulders are meant to be worn wide. Metal zipper up the back. I'd say small to medium sized. No label but made very well. Whomever made this even put a bit of blue grosgrain ribbon inside the waist horizontally which, I believe, is meant to keep the seams from pulling as its quite form fitted. Smart! Its not all the way round though, there are some long ends hanging inside so I think someone else unstitched part of it off at some point. You'll see it. Doesn't affect the exterior at all.
$ 40.00Yummy chocolate brown vintage nylon dress from the 1950s. Lightweight, pretty, metal zipper down the back, two belt loops at the waist, though no belt itself. Cute box pleating on the skirt. No label.

Long sleeves that point at the wrist, layer after layer of lace flounces with a built in crinoline underneath for fullness, cathedral train. Gorgeous pleating all the way round the full skirt. 3/4 sleeves, scooped neck and back, metal zipper down the back. No label. Round the neckline its embellished with a sheer white mesh, I think its nylon, and silver trim. And at the back, top of the zipper, is a darling bow The skirt is fully lined with a stiff tulle which gives it quite a bit of fullness, but I've shown it here with an additional crinoline. There is a plenty of hem so one could let it out if one wished to make it longer. I'd say a smallish sized. This dress just makes me think of An American in Paris at the Holidays. Sigh....
$ 58.00Great 50s -60s IMagnin Little Black Dress. Metal Zipper down the back, 3/4 dolman sleeves with button details ( they are two different buttons by the way. The rhinestone one is surely the original). Ribbon and bow details at the waist in both front and back. Two perfect pockets at the hips. There is no content label, but it feels like a crepe to me. It is lined in the skirt. It does have the old IMagnin label. Medium to large size.

$ 66.00Absolutely gorgeous 1950s floral dress in lavender and purple on a cream background by R&K Originals. 3/4 sleeve, metal zipper up the back, the skirt is a full circle. What truly makes this dress stand out is the shawl type collar that comes to a crisscross in the front, stunning! Gorgeous pleating and princess seams, rayon, I believe. Small size, I'd say. The print on this almost makes me think of lilacs. Label reads: "R&K Originals personally yours".

Classic shirtwaist buttons u the front, short sleeves that work well cuffed or uncuffed if you prefer. Comes with a green belt. The belt is elastic with leather ( or possibly faux leather) ends. $ 249.00Stunning prom/party dress from the 1950s in lovely robin's egg or teal blue. I have been hoarding this for ages, just to look at, because its far too small for me. Too small for my dress forms too so I've pinned it here. Phenomenal horizontal tulle ruffles all the way down the full length skirt and ruffles on the bodice. Bodice is boned, and has tulle shoulder straps. Metal zipper down the back. Full skirt though not quite a full circle. Dress has a blue acetate lining underneath. I've not shown this with a crinoline so this is it's natural fullness. You could add one if you wanted it even fuller. Label reads: None. XS to S size.
$ 48.00Love this simple 1950s Little Black Dress. Metal Zipper down the back, seam detail down the front, wool, fully lined except for the sleeves-which are 3/4 by the way. And its a larger size!
