$ 39.00Classic black cardigan from the 1940s. Buttons up the front with marbled buttons. Has vertical ribbing across the yoke. Fells like an acrylic to me. No label though the stitching remains show where there was one once. I'd say this is a small to medium size.

$ 66.00How fortunate am I to have come across not one but two of these 1940s woman's wool army shirts? Short sleeves with very cute little triangle cut details to the cuffs ( see last photo). Cropped shape, button waist band in the back which is adjustable to three different settings ( 1st button, second button or unbuttoned completely). Collar is lined, but the rest is not. One breast pocket. Labell ( which is very helpful actually), says Imported Japan, Frontier Wools, 95% virgin wool, 5% nylon, size Small, single needle WPL 926. WPL is a wool label and the lower the number the earlier the date made and the 900s is pretty early.
$ 85.00This is the most interesting piece. From the 50s or probably 60s. I believe its a jacket but it's tailored like a blouse. It could probably be worn as a blouse actually. Rounded bottom hems, gathered blousey cuffs at the end of the long sleeves, and just an all round blousey feel. The color is the most beautiful camel, wool. Fully lined in peach acetate. Two labels, one reads: Amelia Gray Beverly Hills, California, and the other reads: Ernst Strauss & Schnell Sports. Medium to large sized I'd say.
$ 59.00 - Sold OutStunning vintage cardigan from the 50s. Light Ivory or cream with pastel colored beads. Bodice is lined, sleeves unlined. Mix of lambswool, angora and nylon. Its very soft. Beautiful Pearlized buttons up the front. Label is awesome, really funny actually, it reads: Made Expressly for The May Co in British Hong Kong, goes on to list the contents, then says Made in Japan. So obviously someone needed to spend some time learning geography, or paying more attention to what they were putting on their labels. I'd say its a medium.
$ 40.00Perfect little black cotton velvet top from the 50s, possibly later 40s. The neckline is daring with scallops and studded with rhinestones. Princess seams in front. Ever so slightly rounded shape to the bottom hem across the front. Metal zipper on the side. Label reads: Vicki Lynn. I'd say this is a medium size.

$ 39.00Cute vintage cardigan from the 50s, maybe 60s. Off white with pearlized buttons, and appliques of little floral fans scattered on the front. I'm not a fabric expert and there is no tag on this, so I'm unsure what it is exactly but it feels like a wool blend, but not itchy, perhaps an acrylic or orlon. About a medium.

$ 69.00Fantastic vintage cardigan from the 50s, possibly older. 100% virgin wool and so well preserved you can still smell the cedar from how it was stored. Red, long sleeves with turned up cuffs, buttons down the front, V neck, two hip pockets. This is a man's sweater, I believe but narrow enough it would look amazing on a woman. $ 24.00This top totally makes me think of the Beatles, and then of a Victorian dame. It really ahs elements of both classic looks. Slightly leg-o-muffin sleeves with a little pouf at the shoulders, and then tightly cuffed wrists, with fabric covered buttons. The same buttons run all down the front of the blouse but off center, right up the to Nehru collar. In the photos this looks very milk chocolate brown, and it is but there is a very definite olive green cast to it as well. Bear that in mind please. Feels like a crepe. Label reads: Jo Matthews, and it says its a size 10 but please check the measurements as vintage sizes are not the same as modern sizes.

It really gives the impression you are covered with tiny raindrops! Body fully lined in rayon, sleeves unlined. Beautiful pearlized buttons up the front. Label reads: Forecast Shops, Made in British Hong Kong, and a size tag says "38", but remember that's vintage sizing so be sure to look at measurements below. I'd say its a medium to large. 70% lambswool, 20% angora, 10% nylon.
$ 34.00Cute little moss green sweater, perfect for Spring Fall, with short sleeves, in a cute pointelle knit. Zipper up the back of the neck for an easy fit. Feels like a light cotton blend, maybe acrylic.

The fist initial, though is M. I love those little details of history.
$ 26.00I believe this was a 60s maxi dress originally and at some point over the years someone cropped it and made it into a pretty nifty top. Gorgeous robins egg blue crepe chiffon over an acetate lining, set off with a satin ribbon at the empire waist and a satin bow at one shoulder. In addition there are chiffon Grecian drapes at either arm starting at the back shoulder and flowing underneath both arms, for a flowy goddess feel. Metal Zipper up the back.

$ 29.00This great vintage sweater is that ubiquitous shape that could be anything from the 30s through the 70s. I *think* its the 50s or 60s based on the tag, but don't told me to it. Its a great sweater, so cozy and comfy, perfect for curling up on a rainy or snowy day in front of the fire with a cup of tea and a good book. Butter yellow, 100% wool, but not itchy, pearlized buttons. Made in Italy for Lerner Shops. Two hip pockets. Tag inside says its a size 36--to me it looks about a medium/large.
