Vintage 1960s Gingham Swimsuit Costume in 1900s Style

Delightful 1910s inspired swimsuit costume in black and white gingham.  Actually from the 60s ish, but intended as a costume for something taking place much earlier. I love it when vintage does even more vintage! Pretty sailor collar ruffled leg cuffs, very lightly elasticated waist, and short puffed sleeves. Cotton.  Large to extra large  size, I'd say. No label. This is just so much fun.

Excellent vintage condition. Theres some foxing on some of the white trim and one button is broken but still useable. it seems one or two of the seams where the trim is could do with a few stitches. They dont bother me since this is more of a costume, but I thought I'd mention it. 

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 47"
Waist: 41" to 47"
Hips: loose to 56"
Shoulder to waist:  17"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 43"
