Gorgeous white Edwardian blouse circa the 1890s. Absolutely charming crochet lace trim and tons of pintucks. And that beautiful embroidered trim front and center! High neck, buttons down the back. Its shorter in back and quite full in front. Pleats at the shoulders. It has an unusual cotton label on the front near the hem with a ornate W on it. I do not believe this was original to the blouse and would be very easy to remove as its just a few stitches.
Fair to poor vintage condition. I suppose this could be worn, if very very gently, for a photo shoot perhaps. But its really quite delicate. There is foxing in several places, and small to medium sized holes and tears and areas of disintegration. That said, there are lots of areas in quite good condition, and these could be upcycled or it would be lovely for display or pattern. I'm pricing it mostly based on reusing the lace and other trim. Priced accordingly, As Is and why its in my Scratch and Dent section.
