Antique 1903 Edition of The New Wizard of Oz by Frrank Baum

Incredible illustrated edition of "The New Wizard of Oz" by Frank Baum. With illustrations by W.W. Denslow. In my research I found out that "The Wizard of Oz was originally published by three different publishers under three different names. This edition, with "New" in the title, was published in 1903 by M.A. Donohue & Co in Chicago. There was also "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". It is my understanding that this version is the least known though don't quote me on that. Dark green cloth bound hardback cover with black and orange illustrations and lettering. Measures approx. 9.25" x 6.75". the novel was first published in 1900. Will ship insured.

Good Vintage Condition. There is wear to the cover and spine and the spine has come loose from the pages in places but the pages are all still held together. The pages are yellowed but in generally good condition.
