Antique Mini Apothecary Bottle

Old clear glass apothecary or medicine bottle. It is marked with the numbers 2 4 6 and 8 on the side and I am assuming these are milligrams or milliliters as its far too small for those to be ounces. It was probably a medicine bottle and it appears to have originally had a cork. It stands just under 2.5" tall. No lid or label. Based on construction etc... I am dating to to circa the latest 1800s or earliest 1900s give or take.
Excellent vintage condition. Typical signs of age.
