Vintage 1920s Book, Short Stories by Alexander Dumas

Vintage 1920s book, "Short Stories by Alexander Dumas". Published in 1927 by the Walter J. Black Co in New York NY. Red with gold gilt lettering on the spine. Measures about 7.5" tall by 5.25" wide.
Excellent vintage condition. The front and back pages have some small tears and wear. The pages are yellowed but intact. I also want to point out what may be a trigger to some. On the title page there is a small symbol, which you may recognize as being questionable. See last photo if you're unsure what I mean. That gave me pause as it is not my practice to be involved in selling such, but I dug and Water J Black appears to have been a reputable company doing business for many decades and as this was published well before WW2 when that symbol meant peace before it was subverted by a certain regime, and it was published here in the US, I do not believe it holds any actual connection to said regime. That said, just a heads up.
