This is a stunning semi-wrap type dress from the 1930s in the softest, most delicious, black silk velvet. Gathered shoulders with just the tiniest of flutter cap sleeves. Deep V in both front and back. One side of the front wraps around the opposite side and joins the other side back to form two bows that hang from the waist in back. Its just incredible. Side snaps. Medium I'd say. Label reads: Jays Boston
Excellent vintage condition. Remarkable condition given its age actually. There is one dime sized tear in one of the flutter sleeves near the armpit that barely shows when worn due to its position and how the sleeve moves. Then there is a small tear along a seam at the bottom of the side snaps. I would think it'd be a pretty easy fix for someone with better seamstress skills than I.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip
Armpit to armpit across bust: Due to the deep V's front and back this is very flexible, free up to 53"
Hips: Free up to about 46"
Shoulder to waist: 15"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 54"

I do my utmost best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected, and there are occasionally small things I won't deem worthy of note.
