Stunning 1930s wedding gown in glorious white lace with a cathedral length train, or very close to it, maybe the longest chapel length. Simple and classic lines with a high soft neckline, puffed shoulders and long sleeves ending in a point. Buttons down the back and same buttons at the wrists. No label though there are he remains of one down in the skirt area. This does have some issues, please read below.
Great to good vintage condition. This is absolutely gorgeous but there are several unfortunate issues. The smaller things are some stains in a few places, at the neckline, in the armpits and a couple here and there. Many of the buttons are marked too, but not all. The biggest issue is that much of the lace is shattering. Most of the train and the skirt portions seem to be pretty good (though not perfect, mind), but the bodice is fairly shot. This is priced accordingly, and is sold as is. It would of course be perfect for pattern, study, display or upcycling. I'm hoping someone with more than my meagre sewing and repair skills can bring her back to life.
Measurements when lying flat.
Bust: 36" It was hard to get this due to the shattering lace so bear in mind if its off by a little.
Waist: 27"
Hip: free up to about 46"
Shoulder to the seam under the bust )approx. 14"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 60"
Please note: These are vintage, preworn and/or preloved items. I do my best to list any issues, but signs of wear should be expected. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm truly happy to help in any way possible and I'm always up for a chat. Any accessories shown, including crinolines, are for display only, not included unless otherwise stated.
