Vintage 1940s 1950s Black Velvet Tilt Hat

Fantastic 1940s 1950s black velvet hat in a tilt or mushroom style. Made to perch atop the head and has a narrow base underneath for stability. Pretty gathered pleats round the crown and a loose semi floppy brim. Has a sweet bow in the back also of black velvet. Label reads: none, but you can see where one was cut out at some point. Grosgrain round the inside, measures 21.5". on the inside and is approx 15" in diameter overall.
Excellent vintage condition. Almost mint really apart from a tiny pinhead sized opening on the underside where it looks like a stitch may have been missed when sewing.
