Vintage 1940s 1950s Cattaraugus 7 Inch Scissors

Lovely old scissors. Stamped on the side with Cattaraugus, which was a cutlery maker from the 1880s until the 1960s. These are probably circa 1940s or 50s give or take. They are also stamped with 7" and that is indeed how long they are. An the inner portion of the blades has another stamp that looks like it could be OT or perhaps 10 turned the other way, hard to tell. Oh and there is a little red string tied to it. It came to me that way and I've left it. You can of course snip it off if you wish. 

Excellent vintage condition. Some of the silver color has darkened in areas but this only adds to its timeless charm.
