Vintage 1940s 1950s Mens Jacket by Gardiner of Scotland in Brown Tartan Plaid Wool

Classic vintage wool tartan jacket in brown and cream from about the 1940s to 1950s. I believe it was a man's originally but its very unisex today. Double breasted with shoulder pads and two pockets. Label Reads: Gardiner of Selkirk Scotland. Fully lined. Please see condition and measurements below.

Fair vintage condition. Its an awesome jacket but does have several flaws. There are holes, the largest is about 2" by 1" and is on the back. There are some minor smudges here and there and the lining is pretty shot. There is a button that's come off, I've tucked it into a pocket if you want to resew it. That said, its perfect as a pattern or study or for woodland hikes or other times you want a great stylish jacket where condition doesn't matter. Priced accordingly and as is.

Measurements taken lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Shoulder to shoulder: 18"
Bust ( or chest): 44" to 46"
Waist: approx 40"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 26"
