Vintage 1940s Dolly Myers Inc Pink and Black Striped Silk New Look Dress

Absolutely gorgeous vintage late 1940s, new look shirtwaist dress. Pink and black striped that looks and feels like silk to me but could be a quality rayon. A nearly full circle skirt. Label reads: Styled by Barbara, Dolly Myers inc. Small size I'd say but do see measurements below. Unlined.

Great to good vintage condition. There is a discoloration with pinholes at the bottom of the skirt,and some other minor discolorations. A few pea and pin sized holes in various spots. The buttons are not all exactly the same but close enough. A quarter inch tear at the bottom of the zipper. The biggest flaw is a inch and a half tear near the lowest button, hidden behind the placket. Once patched or repaired to stabilize it, it would not be seen. Priced accordingly and as is. Armpit to armpit across bust: approx 38" (dolman sleeves)
Waist: 27" max
Hips: full
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 49.5"
