Vintage 1940s Ivory Satin Wedding Gown

Stunning 1940s wedding gown in a champagne / darker ivory silk satin. Absolutely beautiful! Long raglan sleeves ending in a point at the wrist with little buttons there, a V neckline with pleating all round and a tiny bit of feminine lace at the décolletage, metal zipper on the side and a gorgeous chapel length train. Mostly unlined but there is a bit of muslin inside at the hips for shape and fullness. I have not shown it with any kind of crinoline but you could probably add a light one if you want it more full. No label. Small size, I'd say.

Excellent vintage condition. This was really beautifully cared for and stored over the years. There are a couple of what look like watermarks to the satin perhaps, see photos for an example. And the lace at the bust is starting to go, could be easily replaced.

Natural Waist: 26"
Drop Waist: 28.5"
Hip: full
Shoulder to natural waist: about 15"
Shoulder to drop waist: about 17"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 55.5"
