Lovely tweed-ey vintage skirt circa 1940s in a check of greens and dark brown. Has pockets at the hips, buttons up the front and a matching belt. There are some hooks and eyes and a snap or two inside the waist as well. Feels like wool to me. Unlined. About a medium, I'd say. Label reads: Livingston Bros, Paris, New York, Seattle

Good to great vintage condition. This has definitely been worn and loved but has so much life still to give. There are some mild smudges, see photo for the worst of these. The leather buttons do not all completely match, though they're very close. The inside of the waistband has at least one hook and eye that don't quite line up and there is a burgundy satin ribbon inside that has color bled a little bit. It is completelyw earable as is however and such a pretty pattern and style.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
Waist: 28" with room to shift the top button etc a bit larger or smaller.
Belt as is is 29.5" from the button to mid button hole
Hips: 40"
Waist to bottom hem: 30.5"
