This dress from the 1940s is just absolutely lovely. That color has to be one of my absolute favorites. Very Autumn-esque in a rust orange. The pointed collar is echoed at the faux breast pocket flaps Long sleeves that snap at the cuffs. Buttons all the way up the front with oversized wool covered buttons. Medium sized, I'd say. No label. Unlined.
Excellent to great vintage condition. Overall its quite fine but there are a few small holes on the front of the skirt, see photo. And I'd tighten up the button holes I believe. Also, speaking of buttons, the two bottom buttons are not the same as the others. Similar though.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip. The fabric does have some slight give so you can probably squeak an extra inch out of these without alteration though it'd be snug. Armpit to armpit across bust: 37" will stretch up to 41" Waist: 27" up to 30" Hips: 37" up to 42" Shoulder to waist: 14.5" Shoulder to bottom hem: 46"
