Vintage 1950s Coat, Volup Bergdorf Goodman Black and White Tweed Wool Overcoat With Faux Fur Collar, Double Breasted Anglo Fabrics

Incredible overcoat in a black and white tweedy wool with faux fur collar (it's so soft!). Double breasted, softly swing shaped, big black buttons, high kick pleat in back, and tiny slits at each wrist. Fully Lined. Volup sized, I'd say but do see measurements below. From Oct. 1, 1957, and how do I know the exact date? Because there is a label on the inside that's very helpfully dated with both the exact date, the owner and what I believe is a salesperson or tailor name as well. It is semi hidden underneath the main Bergdorf Goodman label in the collar so be sure to look for it. It's a treat and a wonderful bit of history! There is also a side label that says Anglo Fabrics, 100% wool.
Excellent vintage condition. One dime sized hole on the back and a couple small thin areas in the fabric, not full holes, just worn. Nothing else worth noting.

Shoulder to bottom hem: 42"
