Vintage 1950s Bima Knits Beige Wool Beaded Cardigan

Lovely vintage cardigan from the late 1950s. Soft beige with white microbeads in a floral pattern on both sides and round the placket and neck. Body fully lined in what looks and feels like a sheer nylon, 3/4 sleeves are unlined. Hooks and eyes up the front. Label reads: Bima Knits, California, Knitted in Japan, Hand Beaded in Hong Kong. 70% lambswool, 20% angora, 10% nylon. Made in Japan. There is a small tag that gives a size of 42 as well, but do see measurements below.

Excellent vintage condition. There is a pinhead sized hole in one sleeve. See photo.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, and waist.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 42" at rest up to 52" stretched
Waist: 30" up to about 39"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 18.5"
