Vintage 1950s Kleinerts Dress Shield Top

Unusual and pretty dress shield top from the 1950s. Ivory and white lace cami or bralette type blouse with hook in front and armpit protectors sewn in. Short cap sleeves, a very deep V front and a scoop back. I believe the armpit pads might be able to be removed carefully and then you'd have a very sweet lace bralette top. Or use as intended with all your vintage dresses and tops. Labels reads: Kleinerts, 100% nylon, size 34 ( but do see measurements below)

Excellent vintage condition. The lace is sound and elastic still has some give. The only thing worth noting is yellowing under both arms, indicative of its original use. And the sheilds themselves have gotten a little stiff with age.

Measurements taken laid flat: Doubled across bust.
Bust from armpit to armpit: 35" approx. Its open there so flexible
Under bust where the hook is: 27" to about 35"
