Vintage 1950s Two Piece Black Cotton Suit By Wilshire of Boston

Absolutely beautiful black cotton 1950s skirt and jacket suit. Skirt is floor length, long and sweeping with a side metal zipper. Jacket has a fun rhinestone and white cotton detail at the collar, boning at the neckline to help it keep its shape there, buttons up the front, a wonderful peplum, light shoulder padding, and 3/4 sleeves. Skirt has a side metal zip and kick pleat in back. Sized I'd say. Label reads Wilshire of Boston. Perfect worn as separates as well!

Excellent, near mint vintage condition. I couldn't find anything worth noting.

Armpit to armpit across bust: 38"
Waist: 30" the button here is decorative, there are hooks and eyes that could be shifted to adjust the waist size a bit here.
Shoulder to waist: 15.5

Skirt

Hips: 40"
Waist to bottom hem: 30"
