Vintage 1960s Orange Shirtwaist Dress by I Magnin

Charming orange sherbet colored 1960s dress from I Magnin. Short cuffed sleeves. There are thread loops for a belt. Feels like a silk cotton lend perhaps. Beautiful coffin pleats all round the skirt. What really sets this apart is the way the buttons are set up the front. 

Good vintage condition. This is a bit of a project but has so much love and life left in it. There is some color fade along the shoulders like where a hanger was. And some general color fade. But he real issue is the seams. Several of them have areas where the threads are not stable. I've restitched many of them but then got lazy and decided someone with actual sewing machine skills ( I'm hopeless with a machine ad do all my repairs by hand) Could et through these in a jiffy so have left the rest. Its priced accordingly and is a great deal for someone who doesn't mind some simple sewing ( and the fade of course)

Armpit to armpit across bust: 43.5"
Waist: 29"
Hips: loose
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 37"
