Vintage 1970s Marten Figurine

Darling vintage small in the form of some sort of mustelid. I think a marten but I suppose it could be a stoat or weasel or mink...something like that. I believe it is circa the 1970s or so. Measures approx 1.5" wide by about 1.25" tall and is about 75" deep. The side of the base in back stamped with Made in England.
How cute for any type of woodland decor or dollhouse or fairy house.
