Vintage 1980s Joanie Char Red Silk Shirtwaist Dress

Fantastic vintage 1980s dress in red silk noil ( sometimes called raw silk) with black piping trim. Has shoulder pads and two hip pockets. Shirtwaist style set off center.. Label reads: Joanie Char Silk, made in Hong Kong, 100% silk noil, and gives a size of 12 but do see measurements below as vintage sizing is different than modern.

Good to great vintage condition. Its a fabulous dress but has flaws. There are some grayish smudges in various spots, and both armpits have holes under them and there are a couple other small holes. See photos for examples. Priced accordingly and As is.

Measurements when lying flat, doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40"

Shoulder to waist: 16.5"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 43"
