Vintage 1930s 1940s Gold Mesh Evening Clutch, Possible Whiting and Davis

Gorgeous vintage gold mesh bag circa the 1930s or 1940s. Very much Whiting & Davis in style but there is no label so I can't swear to that. Inside is just the one compartment. There is a zip closure stamped Streamline on the tab. Its lined in gold.
Approx 5.5" wide at its widest laid flat and 4" tall.

Excellent to good vintage condition. The mesh and zip are excellent, only some minor tarnish in some areas. The lining is only good. It has several discolorations and some of the seams have come undone, but could be restitched.
