Vintage 1940s Black Velvet Hat with Birdcage Veil and Faux Pearls

Fantastic vintage 1940s black velvet hat. Has a folded brim and four little embellishments of swirls of black velvet ribbon with white faux pearls on them. Black birdcage veiling in front. Label reads: none.  Grosgrain round the inside, measures  approx 22" round the inside.
Excellent vintage condition. Some minor wear to the inside velvet, the veiling is in remarkable shape! I do want to mention the pearl swirl things tend to flop forward so maybe a hat pin if you don't care for that?
