Vintage 1970s Volup Black Velvet Folk Dirndl Style Skirt

Beautiful vintage black velvet skirt from the 1970s, possibly late 1960s. European folk dirndl style with purple and blue pansy ribbon and embroidery and sequins. Drop waist. Lined at the drop waist and bottom, unlined elsewhere. Definitely a volup size but do see measurements below Nylon zipper in the back, with a hook and eye.

Excellent, vintage condition. The only things worth noting are some darts at the waist have been removed, and the bottom hem has come unstitched. I have left it so you can rehem it where it suits you best or leave as is. A few dings and pinhead sized holes in the velvet.

Measurements when lying flat.
Waist: 36"
Hips: 38"
Waist to bottom hem: 43"
